19-year-old James Ragan is a student at Rice University, golfer, and founder of Triumph Over Kid Cancer Foundation. James is currently battling osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that starts in the bones, typically during adolescence. In this video, James shares his story, his thoughts on the future direction of CPRIT, and how investing in rare and orphan cancers should be a bigger priority. James's story was a front page feature article in the Houston Chronicle on Monday, August 20, 2012. He is an amazing kid man and has blessed the lives of so many.
